The ‘Friendship Cup’ (Soccer ⚽ & Volleyball 🏐) officially kick started on August 3, 2020 at 4:30pm. We were fortunate to have Mr. Pradeep Chandrakant Pansande, BJP Vice President, Wadala Vidhansabha, as chief guest for the inauguration. In his inaugural address to the boys, he spoke about channelizing their energy creatively through sports and how to effectively spend time in coaching and practicing a game/sport of one’s choice to become better and beat the lockdown blues.
In attendance was also Fr. Diego Nunes, the Vice-Rector of Bosco Boys Home who motivated the teams to strive for excellence and build stronger ties of friendship with one’s team mates.
Through the week, the teams/players having been vying to compete for place in the Finals which will take place tomorrow, Saturday, August, 08, 2020.
Members of the staff too have been joining the boys/teams in their games to encourage and support them.
