At Bosco Boys Home, we had a mini-celebration for those boys whose birthdays were in the months of June and July.
We realized that many of our boys haven’t had the opportunity to either cut a birthday cake in their life or invite their friends over or host a party as in normal households.
It has been decided that henceforth, on the last Sunday of every month, a combined birthday celebration would be organised in the refectory for the boys here @ our institute.
This month, close to 12 boys along with Mr. Dorando Camara (Warden) were felicitated with greeting cards, cake and chocolates. An adress citing the qualities of the birthday boys was read out and prayer song was sung to implore the blessings of the divine upon them.
A shoutout to Mrs.Rowena Ferreira for the scrumptious cake that was prepared @ Bosco Boys Home.
